ScreenGuardian is the same app on macOS and Windows, with the same checks and reminders on both. It runs locally, and camera frames never leave your computer.

Until these early builds are notarized by Apple, macOS may flag them on first launch. If you see this warning, drag ScreenGuardian into Applications, then run the helper named Open if macOS says damaged inside the disk image. If that does not open either, run this in Terminal:
xattr -cr /Applications/ScreenGuardian.app Use this only for ScreenGuardian downloaded from this site. It clears the quarantine flag macOS can apply to early builds.
Windows SmartScreen may show an extra confirmation the first time a new app is installed. Click More info then Run anyway if the installer came from this site.
The installer is per-user, so no admin prompt is required. The Start menu adds a First Run Guide alongside the app.
